How to Watch Summer Olympics 2021 Live Stream
To watch the Tokyo Olympics without cable or satellite, it is vital to make sure your internet speed and wifi network will support streaming. Otherwise, you will experience buffering issues. StreamWise can optimize your internet connection, so you have a smooth streaming experience.
We recommend the following streaming services that will complement an outdoor antenna:
Sling TV: Sling TV is our top recomendation as it is the best low-cost streaming service for Sports. Most Olympic fans will only need the Sling Blue package which gets you 44 channels, including NBC Sports Network and USA Network, for only $35 per month. The Olympic Channel (plus 11 other channels) are available with the Sports Extra add-on for an additional $11 monthly. If needed, you can add CNBC with the News Add On for $6 more. Only pay for what you need, then easily cancel it after the Summer Olympics are over.
If you are in an apartment or a tough spot for free TV from the Antenna, there are more expensive monthly options for streaming all of the Olympic channels.
YouTube TV: YouTube TV offers almost all of the Summer Olympic TV channels for $65 per month. Keep it for 1 month and then cancel it.
AT&T TV: AT&T TV has a range of viewing options ranging from $69.99 to $139.99, with its base plan including NBC Sports Network and USA Network. Albeit one of the most expensive streaming options, you can always cancel when your favorite team, event, or sports season ends.
The alternative streaming options above are recommendations that apply to most people. If there are channels, events, programs, movies, and sports teams that you cannot live without, we recommend that you give us a call to provide you with the best assessment. We stress not to cut-the-cord on your own, including antenna installation, as you will most likely not get the full benefit of lowering your monthly bill while enjoying a crisp and clear television experience.
Can You Watch the Olympics With An Antenna? (OTA)
NBC will broadcast the 2020, now 2021, Tokyo Olympics. Since they have the rights in the United States, you can watch coverage of all the major events live on TV with an antenna. Broadcasters like NBC use over-the-air signals to broadcast their channels. There’s no need for a cable or satellite subscription, but you’ll have to invest in an outdoor antenna. Signal strength will depend on where you live, your proximity to local signal transmitters, how much interference is around your home, and other factors.
We recommend an outdoor antenna and have StreamWise Solutions install for you due to increased signal strength, dependability, and channel coverage. Doing the installation yourself or an indoor antenna would most likely lead to signal issues, inconsistency, and headaches.
Watching The Tokyo Olympics With An Outdoor Antenna Has Its Benefits!
- FREE – $0 a month forever (no broadcast TV fee, sports fee, HD fee, or taxes).
- Best HD Picture – That is right, the HD quality is even better than cable or satellite.
- Better Reception – When installed correctly, the reception will be better too.
- No Blackouts – No more contracts! No cable or satellite feuds.
- Olympics plus Major Local Sports – Broadcast TV features major local games. Stop overpaying!
- More Sports Free – Watch all major sports like NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAA, Golf & more.
- Whole-Home TV Everywhere – 1 antenna gets you 60+ channels free on all your TVs.
- 100% Legal – I know this all sounds too good to be accurate, but it is true.
Still A Cable TV Subscriber? Cut The Cord Today!
Cord-cutting is the best way to watch the Tokyo Olympics and your favorite sports without a monthly bill. You can still catch all your favorite shows, movies, and sports with an over-the-air antenna for FREE! While streaming, you can get all of the same cable channels for a lot less money and no contracts.
While an antenna will get you free access to 176 hours of extreme competition, you’ll need a pay-TV subscription to access NBC’s complete Olympic offering which includes 455 hours on the cable networks. Most streaming services carry most networks, and many also have local broadcast stations, but it depends on where you live and how much you want to pay.
Cable and satellite companies are expensive, and they don’t offer much in terms of customer service. With cord-cutting, you will save money while getting more channels than ever before! Plus, it’s easy to set up – call the experts at StreamWise Solutions! There is no need for any extra equipment or hidden fees compared to your cable or satellite provider that constantly raises prices year-over-year.
