Fox 31 Rescan Required for Denver Antenna TV Viewers
Starting 4/28 (NOT BEFORE), Denver Antenna TV viewers will lose KDVR Fox 31 unless they do an Antenna TV rescan of their TV, DVR or digital converter box. Some free TV Antenna Channels are moving due to the FCC TV spectrum auction. If you are missing channels like KDVR Fox 31, do a rescan. If you have issues with reception on indoor antennas we recommend an Outdoor Whole Home Antenna for guaranteed reception.

Hardware Specific TV Antenna Rescan Info
TV Antenna rescanning varies by device but usually only takes a few minutes. No new devices, equipment or services are needed to rescan! Please note this process varies by the hardware you are using and only applies if you are using an Antenna for Free TV.
- TVs or Converter Boxes-Basic Antenna only: For old school setups of coax cable from the wall or Antenna directly into your TV (see why we do NOT use Indoor Antennas) or a digital converter box watch the video directly below.
- Amazon Fire TV Recast DVR: click here for specific Amazon Fire TV Recast DVR rescan instructions.
- Tivo DVR: click here to see specific Tivo DVR rescan instructions.
- Most TV channel repacks will result in stronger signal and more new channels, however some might move to lower power or go off the air. Antenna reception will vary by situation (home location, TV, etc) but in order to get the best reception we always recommend an Outdoor Whole Home Antenna.
The best source for help will be directly from the hardware manufacturer, your owners manual or by doing a google search. After the TV Antenna rescan, some channel guide data might not populate right away, but should update over time based on where your TV, DVR or converter box get their guide data from. StreamWise Solutions, formerly freeTVee, is not a TV service nor a hardware provider, but has posted the following info as a helpful resource during this transition.
