Cord Cutting Research Can Be Confusing
So you can thank my wife…
My wife tests and researches everything we install. Here is one of my favorite and simultaneously least favorite texts from my wife: “How the how do I watch TV tonight?” Before you dismiss this out of hand, please note that my living room is a testing lab for every possible combination of cord-cutting solutions you can imagine.
At some point we will take videos of us researching cord cutting solutions. Unfortunately, we don’t have the time right now. We are too busy saving people money and giving them a great TV experience. Besides, we (and my wife) have already tested and researched everything under the sun. We have tested countless brands and models of antennas. We have tested more modems, routers and DVRs than most people even know exist. Every kind of streaming player available has been plugged into our TV.
We have done research and tested all the major streaming services and many you will probably never hear about. Most importantly, we have tested all these software and hardware solutions in combination. This last point is the most important. One single antenna or one single streaming media player will not meet all your cord cutting needs. At StreamWise Solutions, formerly freeTVee, we believe that truly successful cord cutting requires three things. First, you must be able to plop down on the couch, turn on the TV and watch what you want to watch. Second, you should be saving the most money while giving you and your family the TV watching experience they deserve. Third, it needs to be 100% legal.
In order to deliver truly successful cord cutting, you will need to implement a variety of hardware and software solutions. Sure, you can spend all day researching the difference between smart TVs and Amazon FireSticks, but we know that something will be missed in your research. How do we know? Because every day we talk to customers who have wasted a bunch of time and money trying to implement cord cutting solutions on their own.
Do your research but please know that my wife has already done the research for you. 😉
