Compare Google Fiber vs Comcast Xfinity
Fiber is a great new Internet product. Comcast Xfinity has old coax cable lines for Internet, higher prices (that keep going up), modem rental fees, sneaky data caps, and way slower Upload speeds. Personally I dont know why you would want to pay more to Comcast Xfinity to get an inferior Internet Service. Google Fiber wins on speed and customer service!

Recommended Google Fiber Installation Tips
From 27 years of experience here are our recommendations to make your Fiber install go smoothly and not be without Internet service.
- Overlap Internet service. Do not disconnect your old ISP (Xfinity) until after you are 100% sure the new Fiber is working well.
- Do not let the Fiber tech leave your home until after you have tested that all your Internet connected devices are working on the new Fiber Internet (PCs, printers, streaming devices, smart home devices, etc.)
- We always recommend using a neutral email like Gmail, MSN, Yahoo, etc. However you can use your current Comcast email address and keep it, even if you have no TV or Internet service with Comcast Xfinity!
- Don’t waste money bundling TV and Home Phone, there are way less expensive options.
- If needed install WiFi 6 Mesh to improve your home’s internal WiFi network.

Fiber Internet TV options
Fiber Internet providers do not bundle like traditional Cable TV providers. Why? Because there are more people that don’t have Cable TV than do have it, so it’s not a profitable model. This is the same reason Cable & Satellite prices go up every year. That is OK, our experts recommend you never Bundle Cable TV with Internet, it is NEVER the best deal.
- Antenna – Why pay for TV? Get 80+ free live local TV channels with a HD TV antenna installation! Stop paying $1000 – $2000 a year for Cable, Satellite or even Live TV streaming bundles. Install a TV antenna and get all the most watched shows, local news and local sports including Denver Broncos NFL, Denver Nuggets NBA and Colorado Avalanche NHL!
- Streaming – If you use Netflix or YouTube, you stream. Streaming TV is everywhere on mobile devices but some people struggle to stream Live TV like local and cable networks – ESPN, Fox News or MSNBC on their living room TV or over pay every month for TV. StreamWise Solutions can help!
