    What is Fiber Internet?

Fiber Internet is built on a new fiber-optic network that uses light pulsing through special glass filaments to zap information back and forth at unimaginable speeds.

Fiber is a very strong choice for internet service due to reliability, faster upload speeds, no data caps and lower Internet rates that are priced for life.

Colorado’s Internet Provider competition is heating up with more internet service providers (ISPs) options. Who is BAM Fiber Owned by?

BAM Fiber is a new, all-fiber brand. BAM Broadband is not owned by a larger parent company. It is a locally owned and operated company, formerly known as DirectLink in Colorado and Desert iNET in Arizona, which were later combined. Jack Koo, the founder, is the CEO. BAM Broadband focuses on providing fiber-optic and fixed wireless internet services in Colorado and Arizona, emphasizing local service and community involvement.

Compare BAM Fiber vs Comcast Xfinity

Fiber is a great new Internet product. Comcast Xfinity has old coax cable lines for Internet, higher prices (that keep going up), modem rental fees, sneaky data caps, and way slower Upload speeds. Personally I dont know why you would want to pay more to Comcast Xfinity to get an inferior Internet Service. BAM Fiber wins on speed and price!

BAM Fiber: Internet plans, prices, and speeds

Price for life Fiber Internet. We recommend 600 MB for $69 per month. But don’t forget to ask for the discounts below. See BAM Fiber Internet speeds and prices in your area.

    BAM Fiber Discounts

New and existing BAM Fiber Internet customers who are 65 years of age or older, get a 25% discount off monthly Fiber Internet services. BAM Fiber also offers a 10% Miliatary discount too.

    Recommended BAM Fiber Installation Tips

From 27 years of experience here are our recommendations to make your Fiber install go smoothly and not be without Internet service.

    • Overlap Internet service. Do not disconnect your old ISP (Xfinity) until after you are 100% sure the new Fiber is working well.
    • Do not let the Fiber tech leave your home until after you have tested that all your Internet connected devices are working on the new Fiber Internet (PCs, printers, streaming devices, smart home devices, etc.)
    • We always recommend using a neutral email like Gmail, MSN, Yahoo, etc. However you can use your current Comcast email address and keep it, even if you have no TV or Internet service with Comcast Xfinity!
    • Don’t waste money bundling TV and Home Phone, there are way less expensive options.
    • If needed install WiFi 6 Mesh to improve your home’s internal WiFi network.
    • How to make Internet and WiFi better and faster.

Conclusion – How to get the Best Internet and WiFi

When selecting the best Internet Service Provider (ISP), you need to consider price, speed and reliability. Your Internet network is the backbone for all electronics devices. In the future we will only have more streaming, work, school, gaming, and smart home devices connected to the Internet. If you don’t fix the problem now, it will only get worse.

We always want a quick and easy fix. Just like the Internet, WiFi and Networking aren’t easy, neither is fixing it. Faster and better Internet involves a process of elimination, and there are a lot of variables involved. If you can check off the items below in order it is a guaranteed fix to your slow Internet and WiFi.

    1. Find the Best Internet in your area – Get Fiber, any Fiber!
    2. Internet Speed – 500-1000 MB speed, if you can pay $70 or less per mo
    3. Use WiFi 6 Mesh to eliminate dead spots – based on home size & layout
    4. Network Wiring – hard wire to Ethernet wall jacks when you can
    5. Better Streaming Hardware PC, Tablet, Streaming Device, etc.
