TV Solutions for Affordable Housing at Housing Colorado
Last week, StreamWise Solutions was proud to exhibit at the Housing Colorado conference in Keystone, CO (where it snowed). We were educating people on free TV Solutions for Affordable Housing.
Our message to those making decisions on affordable housing policy and implementation was simple: properly installed digital antenna networks for multi-family buildings will save money for operators and residents.
While StreamWise Solutions (fka FreeTVEE) has installed antennas for tens of thousands of Colorado residents, saving them tens of millions of dollars in broadcast TV fees, we have also helped affordable housing complexes save big money with free TV.
Of course, saving money does not mean much if the TV signals don’t work all of the time. But that is where StreamWise Solutions is different. We have the tools and expertise to know upfront if a building is in a good spot for free TV. We won’t install unless we are confident that a low profile, outdoor or attic antenna can reliably get our customers 80+ channels in HD, including ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and PBS.
To ensure reliable signal quality, we use very expensive signal meters / spectrum analyzers to make sure that once an antenna is installed it will be reliable for decades to come. We also use only the best distribution amplifiers, so that all residents are receiving 80+ free tV channels without reception issues! Our TV Solutions for Affordable Housing work in rain, shine, sleet, and snow. We guarantee it!
Of course, installations in multi-unit buildings are far more complicated than in single family homes. The equipment to deliver equal TV signal levels to all units is more expensive and needs to be professionally programmed and balanced. In single family homes the amplification requirements are much simpler than in a 100 unit apartment building. On the flip side, when we work on multi dwelling unit (MDU) buildings the cost per home serviced is far less than that of single family homes.
